Terrace 2: southerly aspect, giving access to the pool and pool house via some steps, splendid views across the Aixois plain and viaduct of Roquefavour.
Pool: 9.5 x 4.25m. Depth: 1.1 to 2.4m with steps and alarm. Jaccuzzi, 5 seats, within garden gazebo in front of the pool.
Pool house: kitchenette, 2 burner gas hob, sink, small fridge, work top. Outside shower, table and 6 chairs, 8 sunloungers, large parasol.


Location
In the Aixois countryside to the east of Aix en Provence.
Aix is often called City of Art, City of Water and tourists from around the world are attracted to this priveleged town. Aix Boasts a fantastic climate, set in a valley between the Luberon Mountains to the north, the green valleys of the Var and Marseille and the Mediterranean beaches to the south. Loved and painted by Paul Cezanne, many a warm evening can be spent dining on one of the terraces numerous restaurants lined up on the cobbled streets.
Environment : Within a private domain, in a residential hamlet, 5mn from Aix city centre.

PLACES TO VISIT:
Marseille. Second largest city in France, cosmopolitan and exuberant, renowned for its picturesque old port and Bouillabaisse (a tomato based soup with a multitude of different fish and shellfish).
Carry le Rouet. Charming seaside resort with lovely beaches, clear waters and picturesque little fishing port. At the foot of pine covered hills, in the heart of the `Cτte Bleue`. Also ideal for beautiful walks all along the seaside.
Sausset les Pins. Small, family seaside resort with pretty fishing port, surrounded by aromatic scrubland and pine forests. Within the Cτte Bleue Marine park with artificial reefs along the coast of Sausset les Pins for diving enthusiasts.
Martigues. Large town between the Mediterranean coast and the Etang de Berre, with charming and picturesque old city centre and attractive harbour area.

THINGS TO DO:
Golf de Marseille-Aix, Les Milles. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 6291m. Set in an established parkland and boasting many mature trees. An excellent golf course for all.
Paintball Meyreuil, Meyreuil. Paintballing. Come and spend a day surrounded by nature and play paintball on more than one hectare of land.
Le Royaume des Arbres, Charleval. Tree top adventure park. For children and grown ups alike, dreaming of adventures and of playing Tarzan, Le Royaume des Arbres offers a wooded site with several varied trails.
Le Village des Automates, St Cannat. Theme park taking you to the magical world of automats. Also adventure park and petting farm.

FURTHER AFIELD:
St Cyr sur Mer. In a bay sheltering 3 little harbours and a 2-km long sandy beach, an attractive coastal setting backed by a mix of pine forests and renowned vineyards. Many watersports activities available.
Avignon. City of history and city of theatre, the fortified city of Avignon marked by papal history will charm you with its ancient streets, spectacular monuments and museums and impressive number of cafes and restaurants. Its famous bridge still stands over the Rhone river.
Bandol. Family seaside resort tucked in a cove between La Ciotat and Toulon. A vibrant harbour packed with fine shops and restaurants as well as a casino. Also renowned for its vineyards producing some of the best wines on the coast.
Sanary sur Mer. Delighftul seaside resort with picturesque quay, colourful houses, lively streets and terraces shaded by palm trees. Beautiful views from its 16th century Chapel Notre Dame de Pitiι, over the coast and the small islands that lie offshore.
