Set in the heart of the Riviera, close to many famous tourist sites, Grasse is within easy reach of Cannes and its beaches, approx. 20 km away. 45 km from Nice and its international airport. PLACES TO VISIT: Cannes. Beachside resort with its large promenade, chic boutiques, restaurants, bars, shops and festivals including the famous Cannes film festival in May each year. A walk along the Croisette, harbour and sandy beaches is a must. St Cassien lake. Beautiful lake with clean water and small beaches, and lovely place for windsurfing and other watersports. Ideal to cool off on a hot day! St Paul de Vence. One of the most beautiful and most visited villages in France which has attracted many artists due to its great natural beauty. Also home to Fondation Maeght, Frances most important modern art museum with a remarkable collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and other graphic works from the 20th century. Thιoule sur Mer. Charming seaside resort nestling in a small cove at the foot of the Estιrel mountain with red rocky inlets and beautiful sandy beaches shaded by exotic palm trees and majestic parasol pines.
THINGS TO DO: Golf du Claux Amic, Grasse. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 5916m. With spectacular views of both the Mediterranean sea and the mountains, this course demands concentration and precise shots. The old oak trees provide some shade and ensure relief from the hot summer sun. Les Grottes de St Cιzaire, St Cιzaire sur Siagne. Discovered in 1890 by local farmer whilst working his land. Full of fantastic formations including draperies, stalactites and stalagmites. Spectacular underground landscapes. Visiobulle Antibes, Juan les Pins. Boat trip. An hour long excursion in a glass-bottomed boat to discover the Cap d`Antibes with stunning underwater view. Marineland, Antibes. Aquarium. The greatest marine show in Europe with dolphins, orcas, killer whales and seals. Also aquariums and a 30m-long tunnel surrounded by sharks!

Antibes with its vibrant historic centre with narrow winding streets, a good choice of restaurants, cafιs, theatres, piano bars, chic hotels, private clubs and Picasso museum, and Juan les Pins renowned for its gorgeous beaches, exciting nightlife with fashionable night clubs, casino and even night shopping. Also Cap d`Antibes, a small piece of paradise, home to a number of millionaires. Nice. Fashionable and unmissable seaside resort with its wonderful Promenade des Anglais, a long boulevard along the seaside dotted with palm trees, its old town with pretty colourful architecture and narrow streets.
