Location
In the Aixois Countryside, in Velaux; about 6 km from the highly rated village of Ventabren. Only 20 km from Aix en Provence with its streets lined with restaurants, cafιs and fountains. 30 km from Marseille and the Alpilles, 40 km from the `Parc Naturel Rιgional du Luberon` (access to the motorway at 4 km).
Environment : Countryside and individual villas. Well situated: 3 km from local shops and 15 km from the country club: «SET CLUB».
PLACES TO VISIT:
Aix en Provence. 20 km. Stunningly beautiful and vibrant city, distinctively Provencal, with sunny squares filled with cafes, broad avenues lined with gigantic plane trees and tempting restaurants, and a substantial historical centre with elegant shops and attractive houses.
Carry le Rouet. 26 km. Charming seaside resort with lovely beaches, clear waters and picturesque little fishing port. At the foot of pine covered hills, in the heart of the `Cτte Bleue`. Also ideal for beautiful walks all along the seaside.
Marseille. 33 km. Second largest city in France, cosmopolitan and exuberant, renowned for its picturesque old port and Bouillabaisse (a tomato based soup with a multitude of different fish and shellfish).
Aubagne. 50 km. Pleasant town surrounded by hills and rocky crags, with nicely renovated old quarters. Birthplace of Marcel Pagnol of Jean de Florette fame.

Indian Forest, Martigues. 34 km. Tree top adventure park. On the splendid Figuerolles estate, a total of 6 trails of different difficulties for the whole family.
Le Parc des Labyrinthes Gιants, La Roque d`Anthιron. 40 km. Maze. A 4-hectare field and one of the largest permanent mazes in the world with over 9000 laurel trees and 6 km of paths. Ideal for a family day out.

Les Baux-de-Provence. 55 km. Most beautiful Provencal hill top and fortified village, in the heart of the Alpilles with brilliant view of Arles, the Camargue and the Alpilles. Officially classified and labelled as `one of the most beautiful villages in France`, it is one of the must sees in Provence.
Arles. 62 km. Vibrant city of festivals, art and culture, with extraordinarily well-preserved Roman arena (the very same that was the scene of the Roman games in the 1st century!), backed by an equally impressive variety of other stones and monuments, both Roman and medieval. Linked with Gaugain, Van Gogh and Picasso.
Avignon. 72 km City of history and city of theatre, the fortified city of Avignon marked by papal
history will charm you with its ancient streets, spectacular monuments and museums and impressive number of cafes and restaurants. Its famous bridge still stands over the Rhone river.
Sanary sur Mer. 86 km. Delighftul seaside resort with picturesque quay, colourful houses, lively streets and terraces shaded by palm trees. Beautiful views from its 16th century Chapel Notre Dame de Pitiι, over the coast and the small islands that lie offshore.
