Location Situated in the Roucas Blanc area, on the heights of Marseille, close to the sea and behind the Corniche. 1 km from Le Prophète beach, 2 km from the large beaches and sports area of Le Prado; 3 km from the old harbour. This area was a sought-after holiday spot for the inhabitants of Marseille in the 19th Century, before the arrival of the tramway and the coastal road. Situated behind the Notre Dame de la Garde hill (La Bonne Mère). It is a green and peaceful location, 20 to 30 minutes walk to the old harbour, the property is located in a country setting within easy reach of the lively centre of Marseille. Environment : Situated at the top of a hill, in a typical «Village» within Marseille, with open views over the hill and Notre Dame de la Garde, then in the distance over the Massif de l’Etoile. A 5-minute walk to the shops.

As picturesque and Provencal as can be, with narrow winding streets, shady squares, fantastically old fountains, elegant shops, art galleries and plenty of bars and restaurants. The village and surrounding countryside has inspired many artists including Van Gogh who produced more than 150 paintings of the area. Also birthplace of Nostradamus.
